to authors
Dear author,
We would like to thank you for your willingness to contribute to the
S+F Quarterly. You will find the information about the length and layout
of your contribution below.
- The length of your contribution should be about 30.000 characters
long (including spaces and footnotes) (This only applies if no other
information has been given beforehand).
- The second line (after title) should contain the name(s) of the author(s).
Please do not include academic titles.
- This should be followed by an abstract of 700 characters and 3-5
Keywords.
- Your contribution should have sub-headings. A simple division would
be sufficient. The sub-headings should be numbered (1., 1.1 etc.).
- Please send us your contribution by e-mail.
- You are very welcome to use tables and graphs to supplement your text.
- Please include a brief description of yourself as additional information
for our readers (academic title, department, location) in a asterix*
attached to your name. Equally add your post address for a complementary
issue of S+F to the very end of your article.
- Your contribution should have the following layout:
- Title Times New Roman 16 Bold
- Name of the author Times New Roman 14 under the title
- Sub-headings Times New Roman 12 Bold
- General text Times New Roman 12 1.5 lines
- Emphases Times New Roman 12 Italic
- Text in footnotes Times New Roman 10 Single spaced
- Bibliography (optional) Times New Roman 10 Single spaced
- Page numbers Times New Roman 12 Bottom right
- Word-division Automatic, also in words beginning with a capital letter.
- Your text may include footnotes but no endnotes.
- Please insert two blank lines before every heading and one blank line
before sub-heading, and one following the headings.
- Every paragraph should be followed by a blank line.
- Please only hand in contributions without any spelling or grammar
mistakes.
- We would like you to acknowledge that we cannot make any alterations
to texts once they have been sent to the publisher.
Finally, please understand that we are not in a position to pay fees
to the authors and publishers working on S+F.
